Hoping to avoid any confrontation on Twitter, the user will cite “Environmental Racism” as being the culprit for modern problems that pertain to the environment and living arrangements. By doing this, the user accomplishes 2 things: they come across as ‘tolerant’ to POC friends while also helping them avoid any sort of accountability for their actions.
