a day with utmost significance to Blue Checks across the political spectrum, January 6th (or J6 for short) represents the date that Trump supporters found themselves illegally entering the Capitol Building in response to 2020 election results that had recently been certified by the US Congress. Blue Checks on both sides of the coin will use January 6th advantageously when tweeting; either by overdramatizing the events or citing it as they attempt to fundraise/grift. Due to the emotional reactions invoked by even discussing this date, rational and civil Twitter discourse on the matter should not be expected.
