Let’s unpack this/there’s a lot to unpack

a phrase used to indicate that a user has a lot to say about a particular topic or tweet.  While this is followed up by a long thread in most cases, there are some instances where it is used as a standalone phrase signifying there is too much to ‘unpack’. 


Ex. “John Gruden was caught sending emails that mocked DeMaurice Smith’s lips and intelligence, Michael Sam’s sexuality, and referred to Roger Goodell as a homophobic slur.  Let’s unpack this.”
