BACK

a term used to give credibility to a statement, without providing the actual location of where the information was found.  In most cases, this indicates that the information contained in the tweet is either wrong, erroneous, completely made up, or was pushed by someone for nefarious purposes.

Ex. “Sources are telling me that Aaron Rodgers called a coach a racial epithet before mocking his vaccination status in front of the whole team.”
